Dr. D.Vasumathi  is Presently a Professor of Computer Science & Engineering and Director University Foreign Relations, JNTUH.She Served and held Several Academic and Administrative Positions including  Head (Dept. of CSE, JNTUH CEH) ,Additional Controller of Examinations(JNTUH),Officer incharge Examinations(JNTUH CEH),Deputy Warden of Ladies Hostel (JNTUH CEH) President for Women’s Association(JNTUH), General Secretary for Teaching Association (NECTA), JNTUHCEH, Student's Advisor, BOS Chairman & Member of Boards of Studies of various State Universities / Deemed Universities and on Boards of various Committees at National and State Level.

She has 23 years of Teaching and Research experience. She has 444 Google Scholar Citations of her publications with h-index as 10 and i-10-index as 10. She served as a Regional Coordinator TS EAMCET-2020, Regional Coordinator for TS ECET – 2019, Government of Telangana, Hyderabad. She is a member on several Professional and Service Oriented Bodies. Her areas of research include Databases, Data Science, Networks and Machine Learning.

She has guided 23 Ph.D thesis, and 180 UG/PG Projects. She has published 140 research papers at International/National Journals/Conferences including IEEE, ACM, Springer, Elsevier, IGI Global and InderScience. She has Organized 2 International Conferences and 25 FDPs/Workshops. She is popularly known as a Student Motivational Speaker. She has honored with women Achiever award -2021,Voice of Bharath Award- 2020 heaven Home society of India. She is life Member in Indian Society of Technical Education

She served as the General Chair/ Session Chair for 10 International Conferences. She is a Member on Advisory Boards/Academic Boards/ Technical Program /Editorial Board Committee Member for more than 50 International/ National journals and Conferences. She has the Research Project (Completed) worth of Rs 3,02,820/- under TEQIP. She has published 4 Patents at National level. She has Visited 3 Countries (Singapore, Bangkok, Dubai) for international Conferences. She served has a NSS Coordinator JNTUH .She has participated various Social Activities in JNTUH and other NGO’s.
